Hi I'm Theo
My passion is being creative and communicating ideas in a visually compelling way. I've come to love getting lost in research - my inspiration is the contemporary art world. I also dabble in a bit of witchcraft and love anything pagan.
I have been lucky enough to create design work with the men's cult fashion magazine, The Chap. During this, I was involved with designing various promotional materials for their launch events and quickly learned the importance of effective communication within the design team.
I am a quick learner when it comes to software. Beyond Adobe Creative Cloud, I have become experienced using Blender and recently developed skills in after effects to create a short motion sequence addressing mental Health in student populations for Student Minds.
Visiting design agencies like Four People, Pentagram, Design Bridge and Imagination has deepened my understanding of the graphic design industry, showed me how to navigate teamwork and helped with pitching to clients. I hope to further these experiences over the summer with internships and freelance work.
I'm currently a second year Graphic design student studying at Arts university Bournemouth. Recently I had the opportunity to work with Lush to create packaging for a festival that encouraged people to get in touch with their "inner child". Drawing on my research insights I aimed to build a deep sense of empathy with my audience to produce an effective concept.
I hope whatever I create, whether that be on my own or in a team, is influential and inspires people to create new ideas, making people think "I didn’t know we could do that".
Do reach out with any opportunities and I'll be sure to get in touch.
