With the aim of eradictaing the shipping industry due to its substantial carbon footprint, we came up with a large scale self-sufficient, sustainable agricultural communities that collaboratively generate their own food and resources who also embrace a sharing culture to help reduce resource consumption.

Fighting the shipping industry through farming and community

A farm is built for a post-growth future (prioritising the needs of people and their well being as well as the planet and life in general, instead of economy).

Our community will include people from rural areas as well as urban ones, including farmers. This allows the farmers to teach people sustainable farming techniques, also building bonds between them which will promote well being.

These are renders of the tool library the community will have access to, this would act as a hub for borrowing items for farming and everyday work, reducing the excessive production of these tools.

The branding for our project symbolises unity and growth, as the arrows center inwards to symbolise our farms self sustainability, and the arrow behind showing its forward thinking ideals.
